FMG and YAC Native Title

Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) is at the centre of undermining the benefices of a court ruling on native title claim in favour of the Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation (YAC). FMG refused to pay the local Yindjibarndi compensation and in 2010 began funding a rival Yindjibarndi group, the Wirlu-murra Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation (WMYAC), to undermine the YAC. Help us seek justice in response to FMG’s unconscionable behaviour in the pursuit of greed.

Raising the Minimum Age of Criminal Responsibility to 14

Children need to be loved and supported so they can reach their full potential and not locked up. Between 65-70% of children imprisoned under 14 are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Help us raise the minimum age of criminal culpability from 10 to 14.

Aboriginal Youth Justice Reforms: ‘Our Youth, Our Way’

Advocate with us for the Victorian government to adopt the report’s recommendations.
